The Congress and Didactic Center

The Congress and Didactic Center, the construction of which was completed in 2007, is the showpiece of Poznan University of Medical Sciences. The facility, located at the intersection of Przybyszewskiego and Rokietnicka Streets, is a well-prepared place where many scientific and didactic as well as artistic events can be successfully organised. In addition, it is where the modern University’s Main Library is located.

Medical Simulation Centre

The Medical Simulation Centre is located in the Adam Wrzosek building at 7 Rokietnicka Street and occupies three floors. The building hosts classes with simulated patients – actors in specially designed rooms. The ‘patients’ have both acting skills, trained under the supervision of a director, and the ability to assess the student’s performance and provide feedback, which has a huge impact on the proper course of the educational process and allows for the simultaneous teaching of both appropriate communication (including taking a medical history, patient education, conveying unfavourable information, etc. ), as well as a wide range of practical skills (physical examination, selected medical procedures).
